When I saw the post on Drawn.ca http://drawn.ca/2007/10/10/6000-heads/, I was blown away by the variety of works, and the lack of preciousness in this exercise. As a tapestry weaver, I feel like I have become ruled by extensive planning and incredibly lengthy projects. With these sketches, I can just throw something together. It's pretty freeing. and scary. But I'm enjoying the process, and parts of the drawings. I think as I go, I will start to like more of them.
