You know it's your home town when...
You walk into a bar that you used to frequent 10 years ago, and are greeted by the owner with a warm hello, only to be given the last very-tiny-in-the-corner table in the house, because "you don't mind sitting on these two little stools do you? Johnny, take care of these girls - they're regulars!"

livin' the walk, walking the talk...
Welcome to November, and the month-long blog-stravaganza. I'm on a deadline tonight, to finish an article I'm writing on blogs. ha! irony hasn't been used up by all the hipsters....
so tiny entry here, just to say hi! if anyone is out there... it's all concentratey over here. wait and see what comes of it...
(ok, maybe i need to add some different types of ending to my posts... this whole "ooohhh look at the anticipation..." thing is getting kind of tired. and it's only entry 2. )

November?!? already??
I supposed I should practice at least once for my NaBloPoMo... since it starts Tomorrow!!!
It's a very "off" day here in The Land of Tex, which generally means difficulty making decisions, and way too much multitasking, resulting from not focussing or finishing things. Hmmm... chicken and egg, much?
Since this whole endeavour is about trying the tasks to learn how to better concentrate, I'm going to do just that. I will deal with one window at a time (there are 25 open on my computer right now...) and see if I can get those done in the next 30 mintues. That's less than 2 minutes per window, since 5 of them are programs I run all day... It's a productivity dash!
I'll let you know how it goes...
